Senior Designer, Creative, Media & Events

Contract Summary

IMG is looking for a forward-thinking and highly skilled Senior Designer. The candidate will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to design and conceptualise compelling B2B creative to support revenue growth across IMG’s global Media & Events portfolio. IMG’s Media & Events portfolio spans across sport, entertainment, arts, fashion and lifestyle.

The qualified candidate should have a sophisticated design sense, innovative ideas, strong presentation skills, great attention to detail and possess a problem-solving mindset. This individual should excel at working both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. They also must be able to handle a number of projects at once and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead the development of B2B focused creative – projects include client or sponsor-specific sales materials, RFP responses, capabilities documents and general sales collateral.
• Ideate and develop concepts in collaboration with the Account Managers and Commercial Teams that are strategically sound, on-brand and meet the brief.
• Produce engaging sales collateral consisting of original designs, graphic elements, assets and visual treatments.
• Build, inspire, develop and mentor a passionate and highly talented team of Designers.
• Oversee the day-to-day work of the Designers to ensure work is on brand and the brief has been met.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Creative Solutions Director/Account Managers to ensure all briefs are clear, concise and aligned, making sure reasonable timelines are set and output is delivered on time

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree in Design required or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience working as a Designer and some experience working as a Senior Designer.
• Excellent grasp of traditional and interactive design, including Presentation Design, Layout, Branding, Typography, Infographics, Logos, Icons, Event Graphics, Print and Digital Collateral.
• Demonstrated superior skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Keynote and PowerPoint.
• Understanding and interest in the sports, media and the entertainment industry.

Desirable

• Background experience in the sports, media and the entertainment industry.
