Senior Design and Construction Scheduler

RED are an expanding international M&E consultancy, with a proven track record in low energy design, focused on providing excellent design solutions to clients.

As a Senior Design and Construction Scheduler, you will use your years of Consultant and Construction scheduling experience to support a variety of construction projects in REDs Hyperscale environment. Reporting to the PMO lead, you will take ownership of the development and execution of Key Clients Earned Value and Scheduling requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven acumen in leading design teams in complex scheduling and EVM. Understand and articulate these in to Programme Schedules and help Design teams identify and define risks and WBS. Day to Day full working knowledge and experience in P6, MSP and other Scheduling tools is a requirement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or analyze program and project level schedules
  • Prepare detailed EVM schedules and reports
  • Independently generate schedules based on an evaluation of the overall program/project scope, including generating quantities, schedule duration, and logic
  • Prepare and/or analyze overall project resource and cost allocations
  • Assist the project staff with the management of project ‘s risk, budget, and schedule
  • Assist with analysis, and report on the project key performance metrics
  • Help develop REDs appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information
  • Prepare monthly and as-required schedule analysis reports
  • Prepare and/or analyze time-impact analysis reports
  • Evaluate sub-consultant delay claims
  • Evaluate REDs design change claims

Role Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience in Construction or Design Consultancy desirable
  • 5 years or more of Primavera 6 scheduling experience
  • Experience in Portfolio/Programme Scheduling and reporting
  • Working experience of Earned Value Management
  • Working experience of risk and constraint considerations in design.
  • PSP, PMP, APMQ EVM L2 or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years in both program-level and project level scheduling for Construction or Design
  • Knowledge of Data Centre Markets.
  • Strong experience in forecasting construction durations and logic, including the durations for design, and closeout.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal
    skills
  • Experience of working on Design-Build projects
  • Must understand construction means and methods
