Remote working with ad hoc travel required on occasion (1-2 times per month)Inside IR35The role of the Product Analyst is to support the Product Owner and delivery teams, translate the customerneeds into high level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems. Collaborating witha diverse range of stakeholders to successfully design, develop and support new technologies and productsto deliver business outcomes in an agile environment as part of a team.We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital future, meetingthe needs of our customers in a new way. Our client is building its Agile capability and continues to increase theproportion of its delivery which utilises Agile methodology and tools. As a result, it is desirable role-holdershave Agile experience and demonstrate an interest in championing it across the business. Key Accountabilities- Supporting the Product Owner to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process
- Deliver product backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment; Delivery work
- Works collaboratively and develops relationships with business users at different levels of the
- Assesses impacts or designs business process to accommodate the use of the solution
- Undertakes analysis tasks under the leadership of a product owner
- Plans, prioritises, manages and executes analysis work with a delivery team in order to regularly
- Works alongside the Product Owner with the business to understand and prioritise conflicting needs
- Contributes to the execution of user system testing and to the test plan for large releases
- Undertakes personal responsibility for IT data security by ensuring that rules and practices are
- Presents business and technical concepts to process owners and business users
- Identifies and assesses business and IT risk
- Prepares succinct reports and communications that are tailored to different situations and audiences
- Representing and modelling data information
- Carries out in depth scoping exercises during the early stages of a work package to identify key
- Help protect from cyberattack and data loss by following standards and instructions and by
- Good knowledge of the gas and electricity industry and associated technologies
- Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems in a
- Tangible experience working in an agile environment and part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrates a comprehensive breadth and depth of knowledge and experience
- Worked collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and team members across Technology and the
- Demonstrated a level of comfort with all the key components and concepts within the technology
- Excellent analysis and knowledge transfer skills to a proven professional level
- Able to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a pressurised
- Excellent time management skills; able to effectively plans own and others’ time
- Able to visualise and articulate proposed solutions to business problems and drive broader business
- Anticipating customer needs
- A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise own workload within demanding schedules
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Good facilitation skills; enables people to reach agreement and develop work practices
- A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
- Forms judgements based on logical conclusions that have been drawn from available facts

- The role holder will support or lead on work with internal/external stakeholders to clarify requirements, plan
- The role holder will support or oversee the delivery of product analysis backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment, may also be responsible only for a sub set of the backlog depending
- The role holder would be expected to follow any governance in place as part of the Agile Delivery
- The role holder would be expected to make BAU decisions to allow day by day activities to occur
- Plans, prioritises, manages, executes and evaluates analysis work across the product lifecycle
