A&G Nails is a new small business in Sydenham, South East London. Our nail bar radiates a contemporary chic feel and instagrammable decor, with its pink-and-blue neon signage at the crevice of Sydenham Station Approach.

We have an amazing opportunity for a Qualified Nail Technician wanting a full time position offering extremely competitive pay and performance based incentives.

About You:

We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is passionate about nail art and has a willingness to learn and grow within our company and someone who can work quickly and efficiently while being organised and detailed oriented. We want you to be able to work well with others while being professional in your communications. We are looking for someone who can be creative and come up with new designs while maintaining the A&G Nails brand.

The requirements are 2-3 years’ experience minimum in the following:

• NVQ Level 2/3 qualified or equivalent
• Must be comfortable working with all types of polish including hard coat, soft coat, clear, and holographic (including SNS, Dip Powder, BIAB, Hard Gel Application)
• Must be comfortable working with all types of tools including acrylic remover, cutters, and files.
• Must be comfortable using an electric buffer/polisher.
• Great creative ability
• Great customer service & work alongside a variety of individuals
• Good standard of spoken English and a second language, as we’re located in a multi-cultural and diverse community.

Duties:
·Maintain cleanliness of work area (including keeping work area sanitised)
·Maintain cleanliness of client(s) (including taking nails off at the end of each visit)
·Remain calm during client visits as you must remain professional throughout their visit
·Assist clients with nail application (using proper technique) when necessary
·Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and colleagues alike

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
