UK Marketing Lead - London - Hybrid
I am working with a leading reinsurance company with a presence in over 150 countries. The company provides a wide range of reinsurance products and services to clients worldwide, including property and casualty, life and health, and speciality lines such as aviation and marine.
Your Role
The role of the UK Marketing Lead entails overseeing the branding and external communication efforts of the UK Branch. Given the nature of the company as a reinsurer, it is crucial to establish robust and reliable connections with insurance partners. The marketing strategy implemented by this role will focus on enhancing the company’s strengths while providing a comprehensive insight into current and future market trends.
Key Responsibilities
Lead marketing strategy to optimise opportunities that align with the broader business objectives
Facilitate the synchronisation of marketing messages among business development personnel, ensuring a consistent and cohesive message is delivered throughout the market
Guarantee that company appearance resonates with our intended audience and uphold a profound comprehension of the market
Organise participation in industry events and strategize sponsorship of significant events, ensuring that we receive a worthwhile return on investment
Establish and execute publication and external speaking schedules to ensure all employees are contributing to market presence
- Coordinate events for clients, such as seminars and entertainment, to ensure a unified and consistent client experience across all branches.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, from initial concept to final production, while adhering to corporate style guidelines, liaising with design agencies, writing copy, proofreading, and managing relationships with creative and public relations agencies as needed.
- Ensure that the Branch follows corporate design standards by providing templates for external communications and managing the relationship with central marketing functions at our head office.
- Revise online presence as needed, including its website and other platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Gather and centralise market intelligence, highlighting the significance of this information to the Branch.
Experience Required
- B2B marketing within financial services covering product, brand, events, campaigns, messaging and AR
- Excellent negotiation skills and demonstrated capacity to influence decisions and manage relationships with key stakeholders
- An extensive comprehension of the intricacies of the customer’s business to effectively implement ideas and technical expertise
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven expertise in event management
