Marketing, International Business and Tourism (Hourly Paid)

We are looking to engage with Tutors on an hourly paid basis. We are specifically interested in talking to people with experience in:

  • Consumer behaviour / Consumer Psychology
  • Tourism marketing
  • Branding
  • Marketing analytics
  • International Business
  • Employability skills
  • Political economy
  • Emerging markets

You will have experience in delivering and supporting Higher Education activities, at an undergraduate or/and postgraduate level, in subject specific and interdisciplinary contexts or have strong relevant industry knowledge and experience. You will have a positive approach and the ability to contribute to a team.

This is a short term post suitable for industry practitioners considering the transitioning to academics, or a recently qualified PhD student or someone near completion. You will be required to deliver tutorials for a 10 weeks period and complete assignment marking. This will involve a total of 10 hours of work per week. All teaching materials will be provided. As an Hourly Paid Associate/ Worker in these roles you are required to have:

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet objectives.
  • The ability to use initiative when dealing with a wide range of issues and problems, challenging decisions appropriately.
  • A degree or appropriate equivalent experience in your subject area, along with knowledge and understanding of the changing nature of HE
