IT Service Desk Analyst x 2 Roles

Job description
Background
Are you an experienced Service Desk Analyst looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for professional, customer-focused Service Desk Analysts who have a passion for IT and a desire to learn new skills.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will join a vibrant and dynamic team providing high quality technical support to staff and students from across our campus network. You will take calls, respond to emails and provide face-to-face support in a confident and friendly manner, working to our approved SLAs.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify and diagnose issues and problems
  • Performing first-line support to staff & students for hardware and software issues.
  • Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions
  • Support problem identification
  • Advise users on appropriate course of action
  • Monitor issues from start to resolution
  • Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a second level of support
  • Resolving incoming client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office
  • Documenting processes and maintaining service desk records
  • Making recommendations to optimize IT performance and to prevent future problems

Experience within an IT Service Desk or customer service role is essential. Confident with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues and have experience of both PC and Mac support.
