So what exactly do we do?

We offer language services to organisations within the public and private sector.

So what does that mean? Imagine if you couldn’t speak English but needed to go to a hospital appointment, you wouldn’t be able to access this service unless someone attends with you to interpret between you and the doctor.

That’s where we come in… the hospital would contact us and ask for an interpreter. We would then contact the right interpreter for the job and send them to that appointment.

We offer face to face interpreting, video interpreting and telephone interpreting for this scenario, so that appointments can be delivered on site or remotely.

As well as this, we offer translation, so if there is any written correspondence we will translate that into the right language too.

The basics…

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm

Start date: ASAP

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience


Purpose of the role

Due to our ongoing growth, we’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team to help manage and develop our HR function.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing business and to mature our current HR function.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and delivering Human Resources strategy and tactics to improve business results through development and execution of all People and Leadership processes.
  • Responsible for leading and managing HR, Recruitment and Training departments within the business
  • Develop and deliver a HR, Recruitment and Training strategy, with support from senior management
  • Manage, coach and develop direct reports (HR Generalist, Recruitment Manager, Learning and Development Manager)
  • Working closely with all departments to provide HR advice on complexed cases
  • Driving employee engagement and company culture to retain talent
  • Keeping abreast of any changes to employment law matters and ensuring changes are made to ensure compliance
  • Continually improve the HR function

Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified
  • 5 years’ experience within a HR role, working with Senior Management
  • Able to work in a fast paced, fast growth company and manage multiple things at one time
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Excellent communicator and team player
