Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Geography Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our partner school in January 2024. This school has been rated ’Good’ by Ofsted, boasts an excellent leadership team, and maintains a positive pupil behavior environment.If you are a newly qualified teacher seeking your first teaching opportunity, we are here to support you. We collaborate with numerous primary, secondary, and special needs schools to assist ECTs in securing positions each year.Job Details
  • Full-time position commencing in January 2024.
  • You will be responsible for teaching Geography to secondary school students aged 11-16 (Key Stages 3 and 4).
  • Duties include lesson planning and preparation, along with required marking.
  • You will align with and promote the school’s curriculum, striving for the highest levels of student achievement.
  • Initial pay ranging from £120 to £180 per day for the first 12 weeks of the role (after 12 weeks: AWR rate, paid according to the school’s direct pay scale).
Requirements For The Role
  • Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Geography up to GCSE level.
  • Willingness to lead intervention groups and booster sessions.
  • Demonstrated excellent subject knowledge and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education to students.
  • Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS if you do not already have one registered on the update service.
