We’re on the lookout for a freelance print designer who has experience in womenswear (bonus if it’s jersey, dresses and tops) as well as embroidery and embellishments.

The ideal candidate that we are looking for will also have range building experience and be able to come to our offices based in Oval, London.

Please note, this is for two days a week and will be classed as within IR35.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Extensive relevant commercial experience working for a print studio, supplier or another retailer in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a high output environment and work at pace within Womenswear
  • Knowledge of working across women’s jersey/ woven/ swim/ linen and creating prints suitable for various substrates
  • Resilient, pro-active and able to work creatively autonomously when needed.
  • Excellent CAD skills on Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A great sense of colour
  • Excellent technical skills -colouring, creating colourways and interesting repeats and colour separating to maintain painterly effects.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A portfolio that shows your unique and diverse handwriting as well as Illustrator skill
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
  • In depth understanding of printing processes
  • Experience designing for embroidery/ placement prints/ embellishment/ accessories
