Financial Controller – Start up Marketing Services Agency

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join a busy finance team in central London in a scaling independent agency. It is a broad role in which you will be responsible for the operational finance function, leading a team of 2 direct reports.

This role offers excellent autonomy with a chance to implement and develop processes at a high-growth stage for the company. They also have a great benefits package and an unmatched company culture!

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Full responsibility for managing the day-to-day finance function.
  • Implementing financial controls, systems and procedures to continuously improve operations.
  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Business partnering with other teams across the business.
  • Managing a US subsidiary company
  • Managing payroll for the UK company, US company and remote employees.

The Ideal Person:

  • Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Relevant industry experience working in an agency environment previously
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Line management experience preferable
  • Proven track record of working to deadlines in a time pressured environment
  • An ambitious individual looking to take on responsibility and develop their career
