We are recruiting for an all-round Finance Assistant to join an international design and technology firm based in Shoreditch.

Reporting into the Finance Manager this is truly an all round role and you will be responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivables, Credit Control, billing etc.

Core Duties:

Accounts Payable:

  • Processing all suppliers’ invoices on a timely basis.
  • Reconciling all supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and to catch any issues in a timely manner.
  • Preparing supplier and expense payment runs.
  • Payment processing on banking software.
  • Posting credit card transactions.
  • Investigating supplier queries and ownership of their resolution.

Billings / Credit Control / Accounts Receivables

  • Raising both client invoices and credit notes
  • Chasing for client PO’s if necessary
  • Sending account statements to clients
  • Dealing with any invoice queries
  • Posting of daily cash receipts, reconciling customer accounts & chasing payments and general credit control duties
  • Review AR aging to ensure compliance
  • Process credit card payments
  • Ad-hoc duties assisting the senior members of the finance team.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years previous finance experience gained within a Branding / Design agency environment along with good excel skills and a good understanding of all things finance!
