About Our Client
My client is a well-known fashion retail brand based in central London.
Job Description
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Very strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow, Auditing
- Preparation of monthly journals: accruals, prepayments, travel, rent, leases, IFRS16, and other adjustments
- Capex, Royalties, A&P reconciliations
- Support with Statutory accounts and Internal Controls
Financial Planning:
- Actively participate in the Quarterly Planning & Forecasting for sales & costs
- Co-ordinate the process for the Annual Budget, Quarterly budget reviews, Monthly rolling forecasts and ensure all input is accurate & completed within Group deadlines
Financial Analysis & Cost control:
- Analyse Cost/Profit centres for the Departments/Regions, investigate the variances between budget & actual spending
- Prepare the month-end reporting packs and commentaries communicating risk areas & cost control efficiencies
- Participation in business projects
- Assist the auditors during the year end
The Successful Applicant
The Finance Analyst will have the following credentials:
- Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven experience preparing Financial Accounting & Reporting to strict deadlines (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow, Auditing, Prepayments, Accruals)
- Experience of Budgeting and Forecasting
- Proven experience of working and communicating effectively with Finance and Non-finance colleagues
- Knowledge of SAP
- Excellent communication skills
What’s on Offer
Basic salary of between £50,000 to £55,000 + benefits
