We have a fantastic opportunity for an Evening Patient Care Assistant/Receptionist to join our team here at MiNightVet Canterbury, based at Barton Veterinary Hospital.

Hours for the shifts are 7pm-1am on a pattern of Monday to Sunday night inclusive, week on, week off (equates to 21 hours per week of work).

The PCA role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, as a PCA you would be involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients, working alongside a lovely team of people. This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
