In our globalizing economy the availability of skills and expertise is becoming more and more distributed. Within the Enterprise Solutions and Platform Management (ESPM) team we enable EY people to meet the increasing pace of business by delivering productivity and collaboration solutions that empower them to work together where they want and how they want.

As a Product Manager within ESPM, you will be responsible for assigned products in our Collaborations Solutions portfolio. As a key member of the team, reporting directly to a Senior Product Manager, you will be helping the team grow and deliver the Collaboration Solutions vision across the globe.

We expect thought leadership, to help us develop existing capabilities, and where appropriate transform them to position Collaboration Services as an innovator for our +300k customers across 170 countries.

Essential Functions Of The Job

The Product manager reports to the Senior Product Manager and:
  • Create and articulate an inspiring vision for the areas you are directly responsible for
  • Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization’s overall strategy
  • Apply a creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization
  • Leads the creation, design and deployment of collaboration solutions products assigned to them.
  • Product managers have end-to-end responsibilities for the services that they are driving.
  • Supports or directs the overall product strategy and long-term roadmap utilizing resources in the Service Adoption, Enterprise Architecture, User Experience, and Operational Engineering teams.
  • Supports or directs first of a kind and pilot delivery projects utilizing resources from a matrixed team of global resources.
  • Directs reporting of product utilization and continuously drives for improved adoption and user experience of the product.
  • Proactively researches and evaluates feasibility of any new technologies that may improve their product.
  • Partners with other Product Managers within ESPM to align product roadmaps and service and optimize overall user experience.
  • Partners with the Deployment team to prepare business change material and product industrialization.
  • Manages the vendor(s) and internal teams that support the product to provide optimal service
  • Supports or directs security and risk compliance for their assigned product
  • Plans, budgets, initiates and/or sponsors investment portfolio items to deliver new product features and deploy the product.
  • For assigned product roadmaps, they will ultimately be accountable for the timely delivery of the investments within the approved budget.
  • Part of the role will require you to effectively partner with our key vendors such as Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco and others to achieve the best possible business outcomes.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • History of working credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills including strong cross-cultural communication and the ability to draft effective communications
  • Ability to work with people in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones
  • Utilizes all aspects of Emotional Intelligence to navigate the interactions and complexities of the business environment and drive leadership performance in oneself and in others.
  • Can work in multiple product areas
  • Knowledge and proven experience of the Microsoft Office 365 eco-system
  • Proven experience in Product Management
  • Passionate, committed and determined
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations

Other Requirements:
  • The role may also require the periodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues and some travel to support change or planned project activities.

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or Business Management

Experience:
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in a technical lead, product management or service delivery role
