As Communications Officer (Digital) you will be contributing creative ideas and hands-on expertise to support the wider communications team to deliver our digital strategy - helping us to grow awareness of our cause and deliver change for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

You’ll support in planning campaigns and content across digital channels (website, social media and email) with a special focus on working with fundraising colleagues to maximise income from online channels, including the recruitment and development of supporters.

The role requires:

  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to write accurate and engaging content aimed at our target audiences.
  • Experience of managing web and social media platforms and growing an organisation’s online visibility and engagement.
  • Experience planning and creating engaging digital content for the web.

Working pattern: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss flexible working options at interview)

Contract type: Permanent

Please note, salaries are pro-rata for part-time positions.
