Swarm Recruitment is working with one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing commercial insurance brokers and provides tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of customers and businesses. Due to business growth, they are seeking Commercial Salesperson to support the company strategy by managing all new business enquiries in a prompt, efficient and compliant manner. To enhance customer focus, building trust and rapport whilst using expert knowledge, skills, and resources available to provide competitive terms, additional products, and services best suited to the customers’ demands and needs, increasing conversion rates, policy count and income growth.

Responsibilities & Duties

To assist the Company to achieve its strategic goals by:

• Managing new business enquiry volumes in a fast-paced environment

• Accurately and efficiently collecting required risk information and premium payment details

• Using technical skills and industry knowledge to source the quotation/policy to best suit the customer’s demands and needs, including advising on additional products and services as appropriate

• Maximising new business opportunities to generate premium and policy growth aligned to key performance indicators within a compliant and regulatory framework

• Promoting a friendly and professional approach in a customer centric environment enhancing and developing customer relationships

• Accurately inputting customer information into trading platform following established system processes

• Co-operating and assisting with other departments as required

• Identifying potential customer issues and vulnerabilities and adapt process accordingly

• Identifying customer queries and complaints and initiating and following the correct procedure

• Working closely with colleagues to support and achieve company objectives

• Achieving and exceeding all personal performance and quality targets

• Working collaboratively as a team to achieve and exceed all departmental targets

• Working as an individual and a team member to achieve the company strategic objectives

• Embracing and promoting cultural change and development

Essential Skills

• Experience in selling Commercial Insurance products with an insurer or a broker

• Knowledge of Insurance Industry

• Previous Customer Service/Administration experience

• Strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills

Qualifications

· 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades C/4 and above

Salary & Benefits

· Salary: £21,000 + uncapped commission (average in the team currently is £500 - £1,000 extra per month)

· Hours:9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch and every other Saturday 9am - 1.00pm

· Able to develop your skills by getting further training from the company
