Commercial Research Analyst – Real Estate/ Property Development

Manchester

£25-30k plus benefits

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Graduate with a genuine interest in the residential market and development process, who is passionate about building a career in a rapidly expanding Property Development business. You will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team reviewing sites for purchase and development, coordinating commercial inputs into investment appraisals and ensuring all are in line with key business targets and performance metrics. The commercial analysis and monitoring you undertake will play a key role in supporting the bid and transaction process, as well as inform key business investment decisions.

What you’ll be doing on a day to day basis:

  • Prepare bespoke investment appraisal models.
  • Sourcing accurate detail for specific inputs for investment appraisals from wider team.
  • Interrogate appraisal inputs, considering both opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor progress on live projects.
  • Present key information to key stakeholders.
  • Improve and innovate the toolkit continuously.

Essential skills we are looking for:

You’ll have recently graduated with aBSc or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate or other related discipline.

You’ll have an analytical background, ideally with some experience of running investment appraisals and cash flow models and you’ll know the Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel, inside out.

You’ll be a problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, commercially minded, organised and diligent. You’ll also be a team player but be self-driven, with excellent time management and an ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines. You will thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
