As BDE/Relationship Partner you will promote GrovesJohnWestrup Private Clients (GJWPC) proposition, maximise product penetration and generate profitable premium income through the effective management and development of a broker panel whilst working within the risk appetite and framework of Munich Re ethical and service standards.

In addition, you will aid the SRM in delivering the GJWPC business strategy into the broker community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the attainment of the branch GWP/NWP business plan across all product lines
  • Helping to deliver the engagement strategy with a designated broker panel remotely or via
  • Taking new brokers through the onboarding process, delivering product and system training where required
  • Helping to identify and develop growth opportunities within the designated broker panel
  • Generation of new business revenue and renewal of existing business where BDM input is required
  • Working with underwriters to enhance profitability and evolve the GJWPC proposition
  • Working effectively to generate and support cross-selling opportunities between product lines
  • Actively participate to maintain productive internal and external relationships
  • Delivery of agreed activity plans against targets, strategies and action plans
  • Reviewing quote and strike rates, growth and profitability
  • Understand all appropriate lines of escalation and the responsibilities of the Product Conduct Risk Strategy Group (PCRSG), Underwriting & Claims Sub Committee (UCSC) , ExCo and Board for Conduct Risk.

Knowledge & Experience

You will understand the basic underwriting principles for all product lines we offer and have an understanding of regulatory competency. You will have proven insurance market experience ideally within the Private Client or High Net Worth area. Existing strong broker relationships and great knowledge of the broker market and experience of building and generating business through.
