You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £44,907per annum.
We encourage applicants from anywhere in the UK – as long as you’re able to be in the Mansfield office for a minimum of 1-2 days a week and attend our regular team meetings in person, we embrace a hybrid working model as much as possible.

About The Business Analyst Role
As our Business Analyst, you will join our small but friendly team of analysts. The role is varied and fast paced - you will be leading analysis activities in projects varying from off the shelf procurements to in-house developed software working with our internal development team. As an organisation we strongly believe in developing the individual by providing funds for formal training and qualifications such as the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis. As a team we support each other through regular team meetings, peer reviews and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities Of Our Business Analyst
- Working on Agile (SCRUM) developments with the Authority’s internal development team, defining the user experience, stories and participating in the Agile ceremonies
- Leading the requirements capture for the procurement of ‘off the shelf’ cloud based solutions using Waterfall and assisting in the selection and implementation of such systems
- Analysing business processes and procedures, defining and implementing improvements where required
- Supporting the business with system implementation, including process re-engineering, benefits management, training and other change management activities
- Leading the definition, review and realisation of a projects business benefits
- Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts and identifying what’s important and what isn’t
- Working with the Digital Service Management team to ensure business change is managed appropriately to ensure new services are supported and sustainable
- BSc Information Systems or equivalent
- Solid experience in a Business Analyst role
- Solid experience in Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- The ability to maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent report writing skills
- The ability to occasionally work out of hours and weekends
- The ability to work occasionally off site
