Our friendly and interesting client is looking for a manager for their arts division. The successful candidate will oversee and manage three key teams: account managers, designers and editors.

The key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all jobs are allocated to the team, also ensuring all information has been shared
  • Monitoring the workflow assigned, continuously reviewing the design hours required on each job, ensuring the content is received and signed off on time, therefore minimising chance of delay
  • Checking that account managers are frequently checking in with customers - the successful candidate will also contact customers and client to ascertain requirements when needed
  • Ensuring entire team is aware of jobs booked and timelines agreed
  • Monitoring and approving staff hours, onboarding and training new staff and reviewing the performance of new starters
  • Ensuring staff members are fully engaged and motivated

The ideal candidate:

  • Background in printing or the arts
  • Proven experience in managing a team
  • Great IT skills with experience in Adobe
  • Great communication skills - being able to communicate a brief and ensure allocation to teams is extremely important
  • Adaptable and flexible in your approach
  • Organised and processed whilst ensuring creativity
  • The ideal candidate will be looking to grow and progress their own skillset
