Job Description
TikTok are looking for an Artist Partnerships Manager (UK) to initiate, build and maintain relationships with emerging and established artists and managers in the United Kingdom. This role will focus on educating artist’s and managers on the TikTok platform, improving the artist and music content ecosystem and ensuring partners are maximising opportunities to engage with the platform. Responsibilities also include the management of and growing the artist community within TikTok through close XFN collaboration across teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and develop relationships with emerging and established artists and managers
  • Support broader Music Partnerships teams
  • Analyze data and performance metrics on content consumption and implement progressive changes to improve overall performance of in-app content.
  • Manage and monitor content, facilitate day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of music content issues
  • Assist in Music Partnerships team from ideation, execution, and analysis across initiatives
  • Drive, measure & analyze performance against key engagement metrics
  • Oversee, filter and prioritize music releases, centralizing and communicating information to internal stakeholders whose programs and products are promoting artists
  • Partner with internal label business owners to ensure strategic approach to holistic relationships
  • 5+ years of experience in music partnerships, community management, media, and marketing
  • Experience in a partner-facing, A&R, or promotion role at a label, artist management and/or digital music company
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships externally and internally.
  • Knowledge of the digital music and content distribution industry.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn required business systems
  • Proficient in Creative; InDesign, Photoshop, KeyNote, Powerpoint etc.
  • Must have a TikTok account and a strong understanding of content types on the platform.
  • Deep network of personal relationships with labels and/or artists.
  • Vast knowledge of music industry trends across all genres.
  • Familiar with using data to produce reports on content performance

  • Experience working with international partners at different time zones
  • Passion for pop culture and entertainment
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Understanding of the landscape and new developments in new media, tech and entertainment industry
  • Experience working in a fast-changing, hands-on work environment
  • Willingness to problem solve
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
