Protocol Education are seeking a Art Teacher to work in a local Secondary School in Newcastle upon for ongoing work until the end of the academic year.

Pupils within the school are known to “treat each other and staff with respect” and therefore this role represents a tremendous opportunity for a skilled and passionate Art teacher to focus on high standards and expectations of teaching and learning rather than behaviour management.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic practitioner who will join an amazingly creative department that is determined to provide pupils with an array of opportunities within lesson time as well as extracurricular activities, which enables them to develop their skills and knowledge as well as showcase their talents. This offer leads to high uptake of both art and textiles at GCSE. As a prospectively key member of the department, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to teach art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Successful applicants must also hold the relevant certifications to practice within this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
