Job ProfileWe are currently representing a talented Architectural practice based around the Cardiff area that is actively looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to build and develop their career within a growing, busy team.Our client specialises within the Residential sector. Projects varying from small to large-scale developments. The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be involved in a mixture of projects from new builds, extensions to conversions. Key responsibilities include working closely with the design team, providing architectural solutions, create technical detailing’s, prepare and present design proposals as well as produce planning and building applications. This practice predominantly uses Revit which they expect the successful Architectural Technician / Technologist to have an excellent knowledge of and practical experience using the software.Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview
  • Work on a range of developments within the Residential sector
  • Work closely with the design team
  • Provide architectural solutions
  • Create technical detailing’s
  • Assist Junior members of the team
  • Work closely with the Director
  • Prepare and present design proposals
  • Produce planning and building applications
  • Work closely with clients
  • Use Revit on a daily basis
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements
  • Living in or around the Cardiff area
  • Relevant Degree Qualified; 2 + Years Professional Experience
  • Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • Experience within the Residential Sector
  • Interest and/or experience within Sustainability Projects
  • Good knowledge of Revit
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration
  • Salary; £28k - £38k (DOE)
  • Holiday; 20 Days + Bank Holidays
