POSITION OVERVIEW

Sports Interactive has a new 1 year internship for an Accounts/Office Management role at our amazing new office at Here East, Stratford. This new role will suit an organised, numeric individual looking at working in a busy 200+ person studio on one of the world’s most famous entertainment football products! We’re seeking someone who is a good communicator, enjoys working with numbers and is highly adaptable. Those with a helpful disposition and who are willing to try new things will do particularly well in our ambitious growing studio. Please note that this role is office based and is open only to candidates as part of a UK-based further or higher education course (sandwich year).

The successful candidate will be expected to start in early August 2021 on a 12 month fixed term contract. Salary will be paid at the National Living Wage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the smooth running of our amazing studio building and our large number of remote workers
  • Assist the accounts function: budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations
  • Help with creation of purchase orders and expense claims
  • Run month-end reports & forecasts for the team
  • Create interesting new ways to present our financial information
  • Engage with team members to capture project allocation data
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Help with the organisation & scheduling of meetings
  • Be the first line of contact for the landlord’s front of house team
  • Liaise with building management
  • Take a dynamic role in organising studio events and activities
  • Support our variety of internal teams on delivering their projects


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Organised and reliable
  • Proactive “can do” attitude
  • Personable manner
  • Student definition (ie. sandwich/placement year student in full-time higher education)
  • Interest in numbers – ie. accounting, statistics, data modelling, etc.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must.
  • Interest or experience in Football Manager, football, gaming and technology is not required but please tell us if you are!
