3D Project Manager (Ahmedabad, India)

Overall Purpose of the role

The 3D Project Manager is responsible for planning, tracking, organising 3D product deliveries. Being the primary contact between highest business management, Product development division, QA, and Engineering teams, you will manage stakeholder expectations and be responsible for capturing requirements and ensuring they are met in timely manner. You must be well-versed with industry standard 3D modelling programs and tools. Good organization and communication skills will help you succeed in this job.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will lead our highly talented and diverse team of 3D modelers and artists.
• Work with product development team to continuously plan, track and deliver 3D artwork with highest possible quality & optimum timelines.
• Be involved in project planning and estimation.
• Participate in resource planning, talent acquisition, training, and grooming processes.
• Act as the bridge between 3D team and other stakeholders.
• Efficiently work as liaison among cross-functional teams, such as software engineering and QA.
• Establish and maintain high standards of quality and deliverability.
• Prepare and own strong documentation and asset management policy.
• Practice and promote highly competitive, professional, and collaborative culture.
• Look for opportunities to optimize 3D art production and maintenance pipeline.

• Prior Game/Realtime Product asset development industry experience as a 3D Product/hard surface/organic Modeler.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet team deadlines.
• The ideal candidate will identify business & team challenges, and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes & workflows.

Experience

• 5+ years of total experience.
• 2-3 years of experience managing 3D team and projects.
• Proven track record of interpreting resourcing and training needs and delivering results.
• Any management degree or certificate will have added advantage.
