Job Title: Provisioning Engineer - Communications Preston£35,000 As a Provisioning Engineer, you will be responsible for managing number porting and provisioning activities within the organization. Your primary focus will be on handling tasks related to Gamma Horizon, 3CX, and DWS. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in connectivity, particularly Ethernet, to ensure seamless operations and excellent service delivery. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the number porting and provisioning processes for our clients. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and service providers to facilitate smooth and efficient number porting activities. Work closely with the Projects Team to ensure accurate and timely provisioning of services. Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and other third-party providers to obtain necessary resources for provisioning. Configure and troubleshoot Gamma Horizon, 3CX, and DWS systems to meet client requirements. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to guarantee accurate provisioning and minimize service disruptions. Provide technical support to internal teams and clients regarding provisioning and connectivity issues. Maintain accurate documentation, including records of provisioning activities, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to number porting, provisioning, and connectivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and contribute to the development of efficient workflows.Qualifications: Previous experience as a Provisioning Engineer or in a similar role within the communications industry. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Gamma Horizon, 3CX, and DWS platforms. Strong understanding of connectivity technologies, including Ethernet. Familiarity with telecommunications concepts, such as number porting, provisioning, and service activation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address provisioning and connectivity issues. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party providers. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple provisioning tasks simultaneously. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and stay updated on industry advancements
