We have a new opportunity available within our busy and dynamic Property Transfer Department. We are looking to appoint a Property Transfer Assistant who thrives in a diverse and customer focused position.

Key Responsibilities Of a Property Transfer Assistant
  • Administration of the property transfers, sub-letting and permissions activities, ensuring all associated tasks are concluded in a timely manner
  • Produce property transfer packs
  • Process ground rent and service charge information
  • Process residency agreements, notices and changes of occupancy
  • Maintain and update QUBE (our operations system)
  • Process and manage queries in relation to leases, subletting and permissions
  • Assist with the collation and maintenance of statistics and preparation of reports monthly
  • Continuously update your knowledge of legislation affecting the provision and compliance with property transfer, subletting and permissions including data protection, equality and compliance
  • Assist with the processing of complaints received regarding the department, ensuring a high-quality service through to the conclusion of the complaint
  • Contribute to the development, review and improvement of policies, procedures and guidance in line with changes to legislation and for best practice

The Property Transfer Assistant will ideally have a background in property management within residential, block or commercial sectors and thrive in a team environment.

Key Skills, Experience And Qualifications Include
  • Experience of working in the property sector including knowledge of lease agreements
  • Strong administration skills
  • Working knowledge of the sale and purchase process of leasehold properties
  • Confidence of working with clients and third parties
  • Knowledge of retirement leasehold properties would be an advantage
  • Professional, friendly, honest and open approach
  • Self-motivated, positive with a “can do” attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Computer literate including Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication skills
