The Client:

The Role:

As an Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive, you will manage a profitable caseload, providing expert legal services to farming and landowning clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Department to enhance the department’s agricultural property services.
• Draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
• File Management and Administration.
• Ensure well-ordered, compliant department files.
• Comply with legal and professional conduct rules.
• Participate in marketing initiatives for the Agricultural and Commercial Property department.
• Engage in local activities, prepare marketing collateral, and contribute to seminars.
• Aim to achieve billing and chargeable hours targets.
• Maintain high standards of client care.
• Control disbursements and render bills promptly.
• Stay updated on legal developments through relevant courses.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an Property Solicitor, Property Lawyer, Chartered Legal Executive or in a similar role.
• At least 1-year PQE in Commercial Property and Agricultural Property law.
• Knowledge of Agricultural and Commercial Property law.
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Proven track record in meeting fee targets.
• Experience in development transactions.
• Familiarity with Farm Partnerships and farm succession planning. (Desirable)
