We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Administrator (Maternity Cover), who is passionate about their role in offering excellent service and standards to our customers. We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly and able to work on their own initiative and able to raise concerns where appropriate.

The key purpose of this role is to provide timely and efficient administration support to the Estates and Property Development Teams.

Property Administrator Responsibilities
  • Producing rent sheets for both the commercial (quarterly) and residential (monthly) premises.
  • Check the accuracy of and approve rent, rates, insurance and service charge invoices,
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the residential property portfolio (including flat maintenance, credit checks and maintaining an accurate log of incoming residential rent payments).
  • Assist with the production of trading agreements, membership agreements and equipment leasing agreements for Blakemore Trade Partners.
  • Dealing with 3rd party insurance claims in relation to building damage and compiling invoices and correspondence required on major insurance claims to assist the project manager.
  • Advising local authorities when a property has been acquired or disposed of for business rates and council tax purposes.
  • Control an accurate register of Approved Contractors including insurance and Health and Safety details.
  • Arranging property inspections and maintaining the Property Estateman system and ensuring it is up to date with lease information.
  • General administration duties including typing internal memos, reports and letters.
Property Administrator Requirements
  • Good standard of Numeracy
  • Good standard of IT Literacy
  • Good organisational Skills
  • Previous administration experience
  • Competent in Word and Excel
  • Excellent telephone manner

Contract Type: Temporary - Maternity Cover

Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours Per Week - 8:30am - 4:30pm Mon-Thu (4.00pm Fri)
