About the opportunity:

Jacobs Nuclear is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

We are currently looking for an experienced ProjectWise Administrator to join the team in Birchwood.

You will be working inside internal company systems, undertaking ProjectWise administration activities, covering full server access and functional technical support (including patching, data updates, etc) to the Jacobs PW instance utilised by PPP.

You will also be responsible for supporting projects and Services Teams in terms of user set up/ SLaM requirements, setting up drives, folders, software access and supporting any technical question on use of package.

Key responsibilites

  • Overall system support of ProjectWise EDMS platform
  • System audits; ensuring consistent use with high standards of data and metadata integrity; producing reports on system usage.
  • Support ProjectWise iModel Composition Server (iCS) with project teams: develop rendition profiles for PDF generation.
  • Support Deliverables Management (DM); coordinate with project teams on transmittal templates and usage training.
  • Support ProjectWise Web and Mobile Services as well as Managed Workspaces and Environments.
  • Develop solutions to satisfy the operational needs of the Design teams using ProjectWise
  • Troubleshoot system functionality errors that occur in the production environment.
  • Be an active member of the Jacobs ProjectWise Network of Excellence (NOE) team to assist the enterprise documentation, planning, and execution of system updates and upgrades and knowledge maintenance.
  • Support PPP projects and Services Teams user set up and SLaM requirements, setting up drives, folders, software access and supporting any technical question on use of package by PPP team members.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Proficiency or working knowledge in MicroStation, InterPlot, GEOPAK, OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeller, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit in the ProjectWise environment
  • Moderate to a proficient level of knowledge of SQL databases and SQL scripting Knowledge of ProjectWise Infrastructure and Bentley Connect platform and related Services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of configuration, use and administration of ProjectWise
  • Knowledge in the application of ISO19650 within a ProjectWise environment
  • Solid understanding of the mechanics of data management and data structures. Preferably in ProjectWise or an equivalent Engineering Content Management system or Common Data Environment.
