The eHealth Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall (EPIC2) project is funded to the end of March 2023 by the European Regional Development Fund. EPIC has had considerable success in developing the eHealth sector in Cornwall. There is a lot of ongoing work supporting SMEs in the region and we seek a Project Support Officer (PSO)to support the Business Engagement Manager and project team. The postholder can work from Plymouth, Truro or remotely but will be required to travel within Cornwall.

The EPIC2 team works with a large network of academics, SMEs, the health and social care sector, charities, students, and other organisations to further develop the eHealth sector in Cornwall. You will support the team in developing the technology capacity in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, engaging SMEs and supporting their work with the EPIC2 project. As one of the ‘faces’ of EPIC2, you will be the first point of contact for many SMEs in Cornwall and so excellent inter-personal skills and organisation are essential. The PSO will also contact and support SMEs in their application to the EPIC2 Challenge Fund, in addition to supporting the project management team in ensuring accurate reporting and ERDF compliance.

Please demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.
