As a subsidiary brand of the NHS Wales Executive, Improvement Cymru will operate in shadow format for the first 12 months before formally joining the NHS Wales Executive in April 2024.You’ll be joining an ambitious team, comprising some of the most qualified, experienced Improvement professionals in health and social care in Wales. Together, we lead, embed and champion Improvement across Wales – drawing on international best practice and evidence. As part of our new direction, we want to strengthen our team by recruiting new team members from diverse backgrounds with a mix of skills, personalities and experiences – considering candidates from both an NHS background as well as other sectors.The successful applicant will be an integral part of a large team that delivers a number of programmes to support the Welsh Government strategy, A Healthier Wales. Project Support Officers can work on any programme in Improvement Cymru.Your role will be varied and tailored to the programme(s) and pieces of work you are supporting, but duties are likely to include providing comprehensive project support and administrative coordination to the programme(s); liaising with external stakeholders and Public Health Wales partners; and assisting with the development of resources.We are Public Health Wales – the national public health organisation for Wales.
