About The Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen or Perth

Salary: £46,100 - £69,100 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The Project Services Lead will have the following key duties & responsibilities:
  • Proactively lead the management of top-down planning and scheduling on projects and supervise the baselining and issuance network-logic-drive schedules, schedule analysis narratives and status reports that motivate and meet the time, cost and quality needs of the project team to define status, risks, opportunities and corrective actions for implementation and work management.
  • Manage and service document control functions across project Lifecycle from Gate 1 to 5, ensuring that compliance is met according to contract and specifications.
  • Manage and allocate project co-ordination functions across Gate 1 to 5 Lifecyle ensuing that an objective service is being provided to in house customers.
  • Management and co-ordination of project reporting functions including alignment of papers for relevant management boards and committees, project forecasting, training, management meetings.
  • Management and co-ordination of the project change process and reporting.
What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
  • Working knowledge of the Transmission business with a focus on understanding the regulatory requirements to conform to Ofgem restrictions is required and a demonstrable understanding of the Energy industry, gained from experience as well as through social/professional networking is preferred.
  • Previous experience in implementing and effectively using company-standard planning & scheduling systems and project or program specific planning & scheduling systems (Primavera P6) is essential to the role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field or National Level NVQ5 or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Experience planning large scale, complex projects throughout the project lifecycle and ideally trained in NEC3 Contract management.
  • Active membership in at least one professional body or association demonstrating continual professional development is desirable.
