Role Summary

We have an exciting Project Quality Team Leader role to join us at our state of the art facility in Coventry. In this role you will support our Project teams in all aspects of Project Quality.

You will be fully conversant with PPAP, FMEA & APQP and will use your expertise to provide guidance and support. In return you will be offered the chance to progress & develop within our Quality division.

Core Responsibilities
  • Compile and submit customer quality deliverables as required for assigned programmes
  • Compile and submit PPAP documentation to customer
  • Coordinate PPAP elements with IPT (PFMEA, control plans, MSA studies etc.)
  • Support run@rate improvement activities for assigned programmes
  • Create and lead zero defects plan for assigned programmes
  • Analyse scrap, rework and yield data from quality clinic team
  • Coordinate containment and root cause activities where required with IPT (8Ds/RCCAs) liaising with SQE where required
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ideally HNC or apprentice trained
  • Have experience of working in Aerospace or Automotive
  • Strong understanding of FMEA, APQP, PPAP etc
  • Good knowledge of Quality problem solving tools
  • Proven experience in using lean/ci tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
