Project Manager

My Client is a conversion manufacturer based in Belton, near Doncaster that offers a wide range of converted vehicles for the commercial market, mobility, ambulance, police, temperature control, and security sectors.

Due to exciting new contracts we are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role, managing, monitoring, and taking full accountability for the delivery of multiple vehicle conversion. This role will manage all core project functions including engineering, procurement, materials, vehicle build, and testing to deliver vehicles that align with contractual requirements and customer expectations.

Main duties:

· Ensure vehicle conversion projects are executed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

· Execute projects in accordance with project, quality, and engineering management processes.

· Collaborate with Technical Sales to ensure seamless handover from quotation / tender phase.

· Managing the customer interface during the project life cycle and 3-months post-delivery of the final vehicle.

· Management of project P&L.

· Maximise profitability by securing additional project revenue opportunities (customer change and variations).

· Project cash flow management – material call off scheduling, work in progress and debtors).

· Effectively manage resources (people, time, equipment, and sub-contractors) in accordance with the project schedule.

· Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery processes and tools.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential

· Must have project management experience.

· Have a background in vehicle build engineering or manufacture.

· Experience in managing P&L and cash flow.

· Experience working in a dynamic, project orientated and fast paced organisation.

· Experience of working with B2B customers in a project delivery setting.

Desirable

· Project management qualification (APM PFQ/PMQ, PRINCE2 or Agile)

· Healthcare, law enforcement or defence vehicle conversion experience
