How to contribute to our vision

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Travel Support to craft effective travel policies and monitor traveling activity and programs. You will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from booking tickets to reconciling expenses to ensuring travel safety. This role is a 24-month fixed term contract based in UK starting from August 2021.

A Project Manager Travel Support with excellent communication skills for handling large number of travel arrangements with visa, work permits accommodation etc. You should be strategic thinkers and able to create travel policies according to the company’s needs. If you have excellent people skills, organizational ability and a great deal of professionalism, then you’re someone we’d like to meet.

The goal is to ensure employee travel is safe and organized according to company policy.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to

  • Supports Project Manager External in clarifying customer requirements and specifications, during the request for proposal (RFP)?
  • Designs and develops technical specification, timeline, milestones and budget needed in the project
  • Coordinates resources and monitors and reports progress and milestones regularly to all stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with travel agencies, vendors and negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers
  • Provide advice on travel documents, work visa, insurance, travel regulations, holiday entitlement, working hours, shift plan etc.
  • Monitors the budget adherence and may take actions to minimize costs.
  • Checks projects results, designs respective test procedures and monitors test results
  • Responsible for meeting all project milestones and technical objectives
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
  • Adheres to PM standards defined, manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff

What you need to make a difference

  • You need to have knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organized and reliable and an analytical mind with strong business acumen
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Training in travel and tourism is an added advantage
