As a small / medium-sized enterprise who have grown consistently over the last 10 years, our client has invested heavily in new product development and pride themselves on outstanding products, technical support and customer service. They play a market leading role in the digitisation of transport - Rail and Bus - ticketing solutions.

This key Project Manager opportunity will be a senior appointment and requires an ambitious, self-motivated professional who can not only lead and deliver high profile projects for demanding and challenging customers but can simultaneously manage the software development output from the UK and European based software development teams.

The Project manager will have the responsibility to deliver large and complex projects, including planning, control and day to day management of the projects and teams. The PM will offer support and guidance to business and technical teams. This role undertakes a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities in a multitude of ways to ensure the smooth running of all projects both internally and with customers.

To Be Considered For This Rare And Exciting Opportunity You Will Need

This is a fast-paced technical environment and will require working on projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience of managing complex software development projects
  • A good understanding of the full SDLC
  • Hold PRINCE2 qualification
  • Have worked in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or other issue tracking and documenting software
  • Experience of delivering mobile applications and web portals
  • Experience managing remote and multi-cultural teams
As a person you will be extremely proactive and collaborative in style with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and customers alike. The other usual qualities of a successful project manager go without saying.
