Main duties of the job

To understand and promote the strategic direction for:

Programmes & Projects within both the Health Board and Women’s Services, this will include:
  • Keeping up to date with national guidance and interpret its impact on divisional projects that they manage.
  • Identifying opportunities for the introduction of new technology to transform working practices, using knowledge to inform the scope and direction of projects that they manage and the programme that they contribute to.
  • Ensuring that relevant projects are established to deliver strategic objectives. This will involve planning a broad range of complex activities which involve uncertainty.

This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
