Medsolve are working in partnership with a not-for-profit organisation which provides high quality, person-centred support to older people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism and people with physical disabilities and mental health needs. We are looking to recruit a Project Manager for an Intensive Support Service within Learning Disabilities / Forensic Needs in Morecambe.

The salary for this role is Up to £27,091pa, based on knowledge, experience, and qualifications.

We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive and resilient Team Leader for our client’s specialist, bespoke-built Intensive Support Service in Morecambe.

You will deliver the service with support from our Registered Service Manager and Complex Care Team. You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, professional, person-centered practice, and Active Support across the service. Relationships will be built based on respect and unconditional positive regard.

You Must Have
  • You must be able to demonstrate that you are caring and compassionate about the people you support.
  • You must have experience of working in the field of Adult Social Care
  • At least three years prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism who have complex needs.
  • Be a highly motivated, dynamic and confident communicator.
  • Be confident in working directly with service users and skilled in using this knowledge to coach staff.
  • You must have good knowledge of Mental Capacity and Best Interests and you must be aware of the Restraint Reduction Network and hold a commitment to reduce restrictions in people’s lives.
