An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Strategy and Partnerships directorate. We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Project Manager to the Mental Health commissioning programme, working across the Cheshire footprint. If you have passion for mental health and possess the skills required to commission effective mental health services in Cheshire we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide support and contribute to the successful delivery of specified projects. The post holder will be an excellent team player with the ability to prioritise and manage requests in a timely manner.

The new single strategic commissioner for Cheshire aims to strengthen integration and collaboration, allowing commissioning at scale with a more powerful national and regional voice, supporting the development of Integrated Care Partnerships in Cheshire West and Cheshire East to deliver more joined-up care closer to home.

Responsibilities Will Include
  • Development of commissioning business plans to deliver priorities identified in the contracting and commissioning intentions and other local plans.
  • Project management and implementation of plans for the redesign of services and care pathways to support outcomes based commissioning.
  • Co-ordinate action plans to address concerns in performance.
  • Lead the review of new and existing services against the agreed outcomes framework.
  • Work on allocated projects within programmes to support the commissioning of local services and delivery of the CCG strategic objectives and NHS Long Term Plan.
