We are looking for an experienced manager with excellent leadership skills, with an innovative mindset and solution focused attitude. We are looking for individuals with energy and tenacity to provide strategic leadership into the development of this innovative Covid-19 LAMP Trust rollout, supporting high impact actions in the new COVID saliva testing regime across the whole of Lancashire/ South Cumbria.

You will be responsible for the development, coordination and management of important projects to deliver success in the LAMP testing Programme, ensuring effective and detailed delivery. Youwill be responsible for providing leadership on the delivery of key priorities for LAMP Saliva Testing mobilisation across multiple NHS Trusts and health partners.

  • Project management on key elements of the LAMP rollout amongst Trusts as they come onboard concurrently.
  • Proficient leadership and management towards delivering high-quality delivery project plans.
  • Skilled in cultivating strong relationships managing complex and challenging conversations, and ability to drive collaborative working.
  • Accountable for the effective organisation of strategic tasks in LAMP rollout
  • Understanding and interpreting performance management information across the lifecycle of the Trusts onboarding from initiation to the success of the programme to business as usual.
  • To lead by example and be highly visible to Trusts and laboratory teams
  • Setting and managing business objectives with a working knowledge of financial processes. Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions is essential.
  • Oversight of key colleagues in LAMP Programme plans, ensuring delivery and escalation mechanisms.

The person/s we seek will manage a portfolio of projects under the LAMP Covid Testing programme and links with the Healthier Lancashire/South Cumbria Covid cell. You will work as part of the LAMP Saliva Programme Team and will work closely with technical and managerial colleagues e.g. UCLAN, Digital, Pathology, Military and other key stakeholders. You’ll possess excellent interpersonal skills and will gain the trust of colleagues at all levels across multiple partner organisations. This will provide an excellent role for a manager seeking strategic, system and programme experience and ICS exposure.
