We are looking for an experienced and professional Project Manager who will be part of a multi skilled Engineering team responsible for the deliverance of capital projects.

The role is based soley on site and will vary in hours per week (4-5 days initially).

Ideally from Mechanical Engineering (although electrical will be considered) background with experience in project management the successful candidate will be responsible for the project lifecycle from design, procurement, supervision of contractors, installation, documentation and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities also include specifying, organising and controlling projects within budget. If you are a detail-focused professional with over 5 years experience in project management, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Requirements For a Project Manager Role
  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Defining a project’s scope and goals.
  • Gathering project costings for all phases of a project.
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines.
  • Coordinating project staff and surrounding staff.
  • Resource planning and allocation.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Carrying out risk assessment.
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation.
  • Meeting budgetary objectives.
  • Reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Tracking project performance.
  • Project evaluations and results measurement.
Qualifications
  • Degree / HNC (with experience) in Engineering or related field required
  • 4+ years’ related field and project planning experience
  • Excellent project management skills desired
  • Must have a positive attitude towards promoting a Health and Safety culture
  • Strong focus on control of contractors
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Field management experience
