Our Highways and Local Government business unit has an opportunity for an experienced electrical Project Manager to join our Kent projects team in Sittingbourne. We work closely with the local authority on a variety of highways projects, including street lighting works. The role: Ensure project delivery including robust, high quality services through management of the operational teams Be responsible for contractual performance in line with approved budgets, key performance indicators, performance monitoring systems, output specifications and contractual requirements Continually enforce cost efficiency initiatives, seek maximisation of financial entitlements, minimise overdue debt, negotiate settlement of contractual claims Effectively manage supply chain to the Project Build and maintain partnership relationships with the client on each contract Ensure Company and legislative requirements are met, including Health & Safety and CDM Regulations Undertake scheme works in Kent / surrounding areas to facilitate the growth of the Kent Office The person: Previous project or contracts management Must come from a highways lighting / electrical background Demonstrate a working knowledge of NEC contracts Qualified at HNC level; relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH, 18th edition) Experience with asset data management systems Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with client, supply chain and employees Ability to work on own initiative, whilst maintaining a good quality output Full driving licence In return, we offer an attractive salary and benefits package, including training opportunitiesDeadline: 21-06-2024
