Job Description
The Corporate Business System Team (CBST) at oneSource manage the Oracle Fusion ERP system and Civica Pay income system for the London Boroughs of Havering and Newham. Fusion manages our key business processes including Finance, HR and Payroll.

We are about to embark on two projects:

  • Payroll Rebuild/Absence management - Oracle seeded functionality now enables the management of multiple assignments and associated absences. Currently we are utilising a customised solution and need to move to the seeded functionality to ensure that the system is supported and payroll is not impacted.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Gen1 to Gen2 Upgrade - Oracle are upgrading their infrastructure in the cloud which hosts our interface hub and the existing hardware will be decommissioned. The interface hub manages the inbound and outbound interfaces for Fusion. We therefore need to move the interface hub and have decided to implement Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

Background

The CBST team sits within the IT department and you will liaise with the IT PMO function to ensure project governance processes are adhered to. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of the above two projects using Agile and/or Waterfall. Working as a member of the CBST and reporting into the Product Manager you will ensure there is appropriate project collateral in place including project plans and risk framework together with structured reporting for our senior stakeholders. You will engage with system owners and business stakeholders that interface with Mastek, our implementation and support partner, ensuring their involvement within various phases of the project including testing, deployment and go live.

About You

You will be an experienced Senior Project Manager with over 10 years of experience. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our projects from initial kick off meetings, requirements capture, testing, delivery, business readiness, rollout and finally handover to BAU support. You will have significant experience ideally in leading ERP (in particular payroll re-build) and infrastructure projects.

You should understand and be able to deploy Project Management processes to maintain control of our project, ensuring our 3rd party deliver against their commitments, with tasks and actions tracked, monitored and escalated if there are any risks to delivery. You will have experience of different methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile and be able to guide inexperienced staff through those processes and governance models.
