An opportunity has become available for a permanent full time Project Manager within the PMO Department at Argenta Dundee. Working with the Project Sponsor, Client & Team to develop timelines and resource requirement estimates for projects including participation in drafting of the project plan, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and identification and escalation of deviations in agreed project timelines, scope, and costs.


As Project Manager you will:

  • Coordinate with colleagues and clients to successfully execute complex technical projects in a matrixed environment
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to proactively lead multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Establish and build positive and collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders
  • Act as lead client interface in providing service delivery, demonstrating your role as a key stakeholder and the first point of contact
  • Build and maintain multiple project Gantt Charts, monitor progress against project plan, prepare and report project metrics to stakeholders
  • Negotiate with key stakeholders to gain acceptance of plan, timeline and resource commitments
  • Monitor and control project scope in a dynamic environment
  • Identify and report constraints and proactively address issues that may impede project progress
  • Engage with Quality group in terms of Change Control initiation, action generation and closure
  • Liaise with Project Team to ensure that they have regular updates, all questions/concerns are addressed and any changes in project scope are identified and addressed

Qualifications
Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline

At least 3 years of project management experience

Excellent client-facing and internal, written, and verbal communication skills

Critical thinker with proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously

PMP certification is a plus

Knowledge/Experience

  • Previous experience managing projects in a GMP environment
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical technologies
  • Highly collaborative with an ability to engage and influence at all levels internally
