Description About The Role

As project manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering projects across The Swan Group. The Project Manager will need to quickly understand the detailed requirements of the project, establish milestones and ensure the momentum of the project is maintained such that milestones are met and projects are completed effectively. You will play a central role in seeing through each project, liaising with relevant members of the business. You will be experienced in project management, including managing budgets; with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to form excellent working relationships and able to influence stakeholders. Being self-motivated with a flexible approach and creative problem-solving abilities are also important.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver project plans using project planning software provided and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identify resources and assign responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s)
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
  • Work closely with both customers and Swan employees to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
  • Interpret customer requirements and communicate back to development team
  • Work with product managers, developers and designers to define and document questions, liaise with both Swan employees and customers to get new requirements and explain feasibility
  • Submit project status reports to customers and internally to Swan management.
  • Manage software and hardware installation and web projects for retail industry sectors such as Fashion, Furniture, Department Store, Garden Centre, and Sports Stadia. Other aspects of the role You are expected to work with the minimum of supervision and may be expected to deal with other duties appropriate to your skill set and abilities.   • Experience as project manager with responsibility for delivering projects across a Group.
