Abbott Diagnostics are recruiting for a Project Manager to joint their team in the UK. This is a national role with responsibility for leading highly complex projects and driving improvements, standardization and effectiveness in processes, tools and trainings using Six Sigma and/or standard Project management methodology.

As Project Manager You Will Be Responsible For
  • Driving improvements, standardization, efficiency and effectiveness in processes, tools and trainings using Abbott management tools
  • Lead complex projects, either standalone or automation, managing the project to hit major milestones and ensure TOR is met to deliver commercial billing
  • Drive account governance, best practice and compliance
  • Provide leadership for project team (internally and customer facing)
  • Assist and drive major implementation requirements for Key Account customers
  • Develop project plans to meet the business needs in line with guidelines
  • Carry out project tasks as defined by Management, managing resource plan, installation plan and Go live expectations
  • Conducts periodic forums, Project governance meetings internally with Abbott stakeholders, externally with Customer and third party suppliers
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Extensive experience as program / project manager
  • Experience in the diagnostic industry desirable
  • Certification and successful application of methods like Six Sigma (green or black belt) desirable
The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average three days per week.
