Summary:

Delivery of a wide range of assigned projects in support of HCL strategic and business objectives. All projects to be delivered on time, to budget and quality. Projects may be either internal / external and revenue / non revenue producing.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure project objectives and success criteria (and changes thereto) are clearly defined and articulated to plan and initiate the projects
  • Define and manage (drive through) project deliverables, costs and benefits
  • Agree technical and quality strategy
  • To report on progress on plan
  • Manage the risks and issues, including the development, implementation and oversight of robust mitigation plans
  • Responsibility for overall progress and use of allocated resources
  • Manage and resolve issues on projects
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and reports (internal and external) in line with agreed requirements, time-scales and quality standards
  • Responsible for the overall control of internal and external expenditure within delegated authority framework
  • Direct, lead, manage and motivate the project team
  • Provides feedback on individuals contribution to the project
  • To provide full project closure and measure against success criteria and business case

Ensuring that the service is fully compliant with all current regulatory, technical, professional and industry developments. Specifically, fully embedding and maintaining a TCF culture.

Our requirements:

  • Prince 2 or similar qualification
  • Proficient in MS Project
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in UK Life & Pensions
  • Significant project management experience on projects with considerable budget
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects
  • PM Software - Proven Planning Skills using MS Project / or another
  • Proven ability to deliver Projects on time, on budget to specified quality
  • Experience in managing projects through third parties including management of remote delivery teams
  • Client/Vendor management experience (preferred)
  • Stakeholder management experience
