We’re currently looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join our NRTS tearm in Warwick. We want a talented individual who brings creativity, ideas and innovation to the role they do in order to help us drive continuous improvement through our NRTS programme.

You’ll manage a portfolio of telecoms projects and will be responsible for challenging the status quo in order to drive efficiencies within an established project. Working with a multitude of stakeholders at varying levels this is the perfect arena for you to show off your skill set.

What will I be doing?
  • Identifying innovation opportunities and supporting them from conception to the delivery / deployment
  • Leading innovation projects across all delivery functions including technical design, programme planning, pre-build and testing, installation, commissioning, and site handover
  • Supporting the delivery of innovation projects, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and has achieves the agreed client acceptance criteria
  • Liaising with the client and key stakeholders to develop and maintain a forward looking programme for accurate demand and capacity planning
  • Putting in place planning and programmatic measures and controls to support forecasting, reporting, and risk management
  • Ensuring there is early engagement with the telecom designers and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring information regarding the programme forecast is communicated within different business functions to enable appropriate resource to meet requirements
  • Monitoring, controlling and reviewing performance through regular meetings with all stakeholders and client
  • You’ll seek continuous improvement of the network through the introduction of new and innovative solutions
  • Developing collaborative delivery plans with the Client and their stakeholders and implement improvements that lead to programme efficiencies in time or cost to delivery for the Client and for Telent

We’d be delighted to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience:
  • Ideally you’ll come from the Transport sector however other relevant industries will be considered.
  • Demonstrable success leading telecommunications and/or capital works projects with high technology content in a safety or mission critical environment
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills working in a cross functional / matrix environment
  • Proven ability in establishing successful programme organisation structures and driving collaborative behaviours with Clients, Suppliers, and internal delivery teams
  • Excellent Client facing skills, comfortable engaging at senior levels within their organisation
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and building strong relationships with the Client and Suppliers to meet the programme objectives will be essential for this role.

  • Excellent financial and commercial awareness
  • Management of Supply Chain quality to meet project objectives
  • Exposure to LEAN principles and Business Improvement
